ET Digital TeamBecause it is a plugin, if you try to install Elementor as a theme, there will be an error “The package could not be installed”.
Therefore, you can’t set up Appearance > theme on your WordPress Dashboard. You must install it via Appearance > plugins.
Note: You have to install Elementor free as well so that Elementor Pro can work given that the latter is an extension of the former.
